A Little Bit About Me...

Hi! My name is Morgan Pitman and I am senior at Anderson University majoring in Elementary Education. I also have a certification in learning disabilities and have had previous experience tutoring various grade levels (especially 5th grade math and 1st grade reading). I have also spent a significant amount of time observing and assisting in elementary classrooms (grades 1-5). Last year I completed an individual math research project with one of my professors that focused on teaching math to students with learning disabilities. Tutoring for Life

I'm 24 and mother of a 1 year old (he may be with me while tutoring). I'm laid back and believe there is a natural process that must take place for us to learn and absorb new material. Not just memorize it for a test. However, test preparation is also one of my specialties which does involve more repetition and hands on useage. This could include parent approved trips. I have had a love of science and education since I was young, My favorite being Biology I took Biology AP in High school and scored a 5, Went on to college to continue to study biology and other natural science,I work very well with children, The important thing is making studying fun and interesting which I believe I do very well, im currently completing my degree and USC upstate.
