I believe that being a teacher is a calling. I feel that I have been called. I have ADD and believe that this allows me to understand the need to approach teaching in different ways, depending on each childs needs. A Little Bit About Me...

As a father of three, I love to teach through example. As much as possible, I love to use practical illustrations to emphasize points and to give the child/student a better understanding of its application. I tend to learn best visually and through repetition and would incorporate that style into my teaching efforts. My goal in teaching would be patience, demanding but considerate, firm but fair.

I have been in college for 3 years now and have a GPA of 3.90. My major is in Biology with a minor in Psychology. I have been accepted for the Honors Research Program at my university. I was selected to receive an academic scholarship from the state of Ohio. I have worked as a Lab Assistant for a statistics course and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for a Cell Biology and Genetics class.
