I have been in college for 3 years now and have a GPA of 3.90. My major is in Biology with a minor in Psychology. I have been accepted for the Honors Research Program at my university. I was selected to receive an academic scholarship from the state of Ohio. I have worked as a Lab Assistant for a statistics course and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for a Cell Biology and Genetics class. I have tutored approximately 30 students for about a year and a half. I tutor in Biology, Psychology, Mathematics and Statistics. I also help students to prepare for tests such as SAT, ACT, ASVAB and college entry-level mathematics placement tests. A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate I studied computer engineering with a minor in math. After earning my B.S. I wanted to continue studies and push my career more towards math and physics so I earned an M.S. in electrical engineering. As a graduate student I had a revelation that caused me to reexamine math and engineering concepts, which led to a deeper understanding of them. I am now pursuing a PhD in electrical engineering. My teaching experienced has been unfortunately limited to tutoring family and friends in their college math courses over the past few years. However, those experiences have provided great insight into how to effectively teach a subject, and I am ready to use this experience to benefit a wider audience.
