I write with great enthusiasm to apply for the position of Tutor. I recently graduated from Gettysburg College Magna Cum Laude earning my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. I have previous experience working as a Clinician/Tutor for Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, providing one-on-one instruction to students and implemented programs that provided effective treatment for dyslexia, hyperlexia, autism, and other learning disabilities. Further, I have years of experience volunteering as a tutor, instructing students of all ages (including high school) in various subjects.
I have found that tutoring sessions are most effective when they are fun! Many students find it difficult to stay focused, especially after a full school day.
