A wise man once said; to learn, read; to know, write. But to master, teach. Teach is one of those nifty reflexive verbs where the teacher and pupil are interchangeable. If both are patient, resourceful, imaginative and caring the learning becomes less process and more flow. This is always my goal in teaching: creating a positive and flexible environment for all the principles involved. And of course, frequently there must be laughter.
I graduated from St. Lawrence University, a liberal arts foundation of learning that has served me judiciously on the metaphorical road of life. For the past several years I have applied my interest for the ocean environment, marine mammals and teaching to volunteer for education outreach in schools and the local communities in coastal Delaware.
