Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that children should not be taught with the expectations of failing. I go to the extreme, my students are taught by me to reach for the stars and go for the gusto. As a graduate from SUNY Cortland, I was always interested in teaching young adults to exceed their expectations. As a history major, I have a desire to learn more and teach more about the past. I have learned so much about the present through studying the past. I have written numerous papers and completed projects while in college. These will help me to teach students how to organize, prepare, and excel in history.
I believe in teaching according to the curriculum. However, I will also pull in information from other historical and academic sources that will enhance the student's learning experience.
