Chess coach/tutor available (most subjects) - Cleveland West

I learned how to play chess about twenty years ago, it's been rather on and off since then. I've steadily improved and tried so many different ways to improve before finding the right method for myself that I'm confident in my many approaches to teaching. As far as other subjects, I graduated high school with honors back in 2003 with a 3.8 GPA, and scored a composite 30 on the ACT. At MSU, I first worked as a Supplemental Instructor and then became a Graduate Assistant (before I even earned my Bachelor's degree) in the School of Business. I also worked in the math department as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. I have taught business, accounting and math classes at the college level when instructor was absent. Accounting is by far my strong suit, followed by Excel, Economics and Math, however I do not use high-level math often, although I got A's in everything throughout college.
I enjoy teaching at a high school level or above. I am very hands on. I am a bit of a story teller - rearranging the circumstances of the problem into an issue more easily related to by the student. I am very patient and relaxed - there are very few people who have a lower stress level than I do.
