My comments on tutoring Drums: I have taken 1 and am now currently taking a second College methods course in Percussion and was taught how to play (with proper technique) and taught how to teach the basics.
I have played Trumpet for 9 years, Clarinet for 3, and have taken numerous college methods courses that teach me how to play and teach many other instruments. I am a music education major at Towson University, but I live near Salisbury, MD, and love to help and tutor children in this field during the summer. I do not yet have a degree, but am looking for paid teaching experience to put on my resume.
