I learned Russian at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey,CA, during my service in the Marine Corps. This school is regionally accredited and is considered one on the best schools in the U.S. to learn a foreign language. After I graduated I spent the rest of my enlistment as a cryptologic linguist in the operating forces. I had to re-certify annually, by taking the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) for Russian. I attended many follow on courses for Russian and still have all of my materials from DLI and those course.

Since the age of 11 I knew that I am a born teacher. and even coming from a doctors family in the 5th generation nobody could tell me anything different than that I have to be with children and work as a teacher. I have earned BA & MA in English as a second(foreign) language. Age of my students varied from 6years old through 60+. I have been teaching at Elementary and Secondary schools, and also at the universities in this country and abroad (Ukraine, Saudi Arabia).
