A Little Bit About Me...

Being a meticulous student at Colorado State University, I excelled in academics. During my nine semesters, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Language, Literature, and Culture with a concentration in French, as well as Political Science. Helping others excel in these areas not only benefited the students but me as well, as it furthered my understanding of the material. As a student of languages, mainly French but also years of Spanish, I have become very educated in grammar especially, and have very much enjoyed proof-reading and editing research papers. I was interested in a teaching so I could assist children to reach their full potential. i have earned a BA in Elementary Education, which led me on to get my Ma. This helped me gain an understanding of the many styles in which children learn. In addition I used the different styles of learning to complete papers to showcase in style. A Little Bit About Me...

As an ivy league graduate, I have attained a top-notch education and had access to the best professors in the world. Through my major I have studied mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Calculus, and Statistics. I have tutored high school students for several years in their homes, mostly for SAT prep and Algebra. My SAT I scores were 710M and 710V.
I have worked with students who are very bright, and just wanted to score a little higher on their boards, and students who had trouble passing their courses before they came to me for help. Whether I assist the student to get a "C" in their math course, or an 800 on the SAT math section, I have always enjoyed working with children. I know the material, and I have the patience to explain and make sure the student understands.

Florida Writes is designed to measure students' proficiency in writing responses to assigned topics within a designated testing period. Find your tutor now. Beginning in 2010, each essay was scored by one rater. In previous years, two raters were used and the scores were averaged. Prior to 2010, a student could have received a half-point score, such as 4.5; whereas since 2010, no half-point scores are possible. Additionally, beginning in 2010, each student within the same grade level was required to write an essay using the same mode of writing (narrative, expository, or persuasive).
