Honor Student hoping to help students achieve success

Hello! My name is Kayla Bear. I am a first-year student at Purdue University; however, I am a sophomore according to my credit hours. I earned college credit in high school to get ahead of the game. I worked as a peer mentor throughout high school, helping students with their homework and helping prepare them for tests such as the SAT. I have taken a number of courses in various subjects, so I feel that I am able to help a wide range of students. I was editor of my high school yearbook last year, so I have a lot of experience training people in writing and grammar. I have also taught pre-school, 3rd/4th in one classroom, and 5th, the last 2 classrooms were self-contained. I have experience in substitute teaching on various levels in a variety of school corporations. I also taught one year of elementary art for a parochial school.
