I graduated high school in 2008. I then attended West Ga Tech., for over a year. I majored in technical communications and took numerous computer classes. I love computers and Math. Once the student understands the concepts I can then express the same ideas in the more rigorous mathematical terms. I also teach so that the student becomes active in his or her learning experience. I try to help the student to realize that math is not as difficult as it is made out to be. Over the course of my tutoring career I have employed a strategy of helping the student to understand more of the mechanics of mathematics and depend less on shortcuts that do not foster learning or, even worse, do not work.
