Spanish is one of my top subjects! I am originally from Chile and have lived here the majority of my life. I took English as a Second Language classes after being here for 4 years, so I could perfect my English. I speak Spanish fluently, it is my native language.

I like to start out with the basics and work on individual words, nouns, verbs as well as working on common phrases. Then we will progress into the more advanced aspects of the language. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with. I love to teach and to help.
I am from Chile, so I speak Spanish as my native language. After being here for a few years I decided to take ESL classes to perfect my English, where I learned many things about teaching a second language to someone. As a non native Spanish speaker, I believe immersion is the best way to advance the acquisition of a second language. Ninety percent of my instruction was based in Spanish. However, students were prompted by visual cues which facilitated questioning and classroom participation. I believed that if students were properly challenged to higher level thinking, they would respond accordingly.
