I have been teaching in the homeschool community for about 10 years. I have learn many skills on how to handle different classroom situations. I tautht cross county, physical education, critical thinking skills, sewing, and all the other core courses. I volunteered in a local private school to assist when they would need me. As of this October I started teaching at a local tutoring center. Currently, I am teaching on a "on call basis" at a local college.
My philiosphy is to motivate through praise. I believe in speaking words of encouragement to the students. I have seen positive words manifest into good results for the students. I grew up in a very large family. Because our family was so large, it made it difficult for our parents to assist with academic studies troughout my years of school.
