I have had a great deal of experience in this subject. I have a BS in Education with a Comprehensive Science specialty - 7th to 12th grades. I have taught science in the classroom, but I changed after I got married to tutoring. In the past few years I have spent most of my time tutoring math and GED. This has been done in both a private and classroom setting. While teaching GED at Job Corps, my students were highly successful. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
