My comments on tutoring Microsoft Access : Have used Access and similar programs in a professional setting and have tutored as well.

Have been tutoring for twenty years, and have also taught on a college level for ten. I have taught in a variety of contexts, such as one-on-one, kid's day camp, online and ongoing workshops. I once ran my own company with a specialty in tutoring diversity software students. I have an extremely high success rate, with virtually no students going away not meeting at least basic objectives. I have a B.A. in Art from San Francisco State University, and an M.F.A. in Design from UCLA, and have taught at UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, San Francisco State University, Art Center College of Design and the Art Institute of Houston. I try to create a fun learning environment, ensuring the youth can ask questions, have flexibility at their learning speed and still master the material in ways that will stay with them. Depending on the subject area, I like to give hypotheticals, questions and real-world examples that will help achieve memorization easier.
After graduating from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., I returned to Wyoming to work in politics and government. I have been asked to teach chapters on Government in the local high schools as well as teaching Sunday School classes locally in Cheyenne. I serve in the State Legislature as well as working in the community to help youth succeed in their goals.

A Little Bit About Me...

For the last 3 years I have been working as a special education teacher at a non-proft treatment facility. I enjoy working with children. I conduct myself in a very positive manner and do a very good job in navigating between teaching material to the class and supportively intervening with behavior challenges and conducting solid classroom management. On two different occasions in the first class, I addressed a concern, did not power struggle and both situations ended up positively for the youth and for the rest of the class.
