My comments on tutoring TOEFL : Having to take the TOEFL myself, I have a profound understanding of the difficulties faced by TOEFL takers. I understand the structure and expectations of the exam so I can guide you through every detail to build the skills necessary to prevail.

There is no one teaching style I adhere to. It depends on the student's learning style more than anything. The one thing that is never missing from my services is organization.
I have always focused on building skills and never losing perspective on my goals. I am a young attorney passionate about helping people build the skills and study habits that will change their future. I have a Licentiate in Law in Spanish and a Masters in Law in English. I am aware of the importance of spending the time to prepare and help my students learn while at the same time motivating them to reach out even higher with every task. A Little Bit About Me...

I tutored inner city youth through a program at D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY. I helped many International Graduate Students improve their English and writing skills. I worked one on one with these students to help edit thesis, statement of purpose, and essays. I have also worked with adult students who want to reduce their accents. I do this by teaching stress accents and basic English vowel sounds. I spent one year in Harbin,Chinaa teaching English to native Chinese(Mandarin students) They had a very basic knowledge of English. I taught culture, English slang and proper usage. These students went on to graduate and enter the working world with a better grasp of the real English language.
