I come into contact with a variety of different students with different areas of interest as a public speaking teacher. My teaching philosophy is to recognize that every student needs, wants, and gets something different from their studies, and it is my job to help them do just that. Rather than conduct a “one size fits all” class, I work with my students individually to guide them in their research and help them get the most out of their speeches. I graduated from the University of South Alabama with an Elementary Education degree in December of 2005. During this time, I completed my student teaching at Holloway Elementary School. During the year of student teaching, I learned to work with diverse learning styles, varying stages of development as well as a multitude of learning tools.
