I earned a BA in Music from the University of California, Los Angeles where I also completed a post-graduate year required for a California life-time teaching credential. I am an experienced classroom teacher (3rd/4th LA City Schools and Casablanca, Morocco) as well as music specialist (LA City Schools) and piano teacher (California/Colorado). I also have solid work experience as an administrative assistant with Hewlett-Packard and later as an Information Technology II employee at Colorado State University. I start looking right away for “What is missing?” I have seen many students who are perfectly capable but struggle because they missed a fundamental building block. Learning is always difficult.
