I am both a right and left brain thinker evidenced by the fact that I have both an academic undergraduate degree and a fine arts undergraduate degree. I have spent 30 years as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director at educational institutions. I value instilling pride of accomplishment and critical thinking skills above all else, not matter what the subject. When a student has both of those he or she can learn almost anything.

My comments on tutoring Creative Arts : I'm will be teaching you GRAPHIC DESIGN. You will be learning how to use InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator design programs. You will learn how to create business cards, flyers, brochures, posters, display graphics, newsletters, invitations and how to lay out a magazine and multi-fold inserts, among other new abilities. You will also learn photo retouching, color correction and using the many "effects" in Photoshop to create outstanding artwork. You will also learn logo design and development using Illustrator.

I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years. When I began in graphic design, it was with a desire to work at a major motion picture studio, doing graphic design in their CREATIVE ARTS department.
