A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher at Thomasville High School, I instructed students in World History. I also assisted with tutorial for student struggling in various social studies subjects (i.e. World History, Civics, US History). Another responsibility I had was that I provided guidance and mentorship to seniors on their graduation projects. Some of my other duties assigned by the school administration were School Safety Team, Parking Lot & Hall Monitoring, etc. I also had the pleasure of assisting the school band director with establishing a national championship marching band program.

When I first work with a student, I like to get to know the method of teaching that they have already experienced from their math teacher. This allows me to know what sort of methods and teaching styles they student has already been exposed to and thus allow me to elimnate strategies that do not work. Being in sync with the student's teacher is very important. I work very hard to make sure that I am teaching them in a way that they can relate to.
