As a graduate from Briar Cliff College, I have always enjoyed learning and wanting to help others succeed. I have earned a BA degree in Elementary Education, in which I have taught in the classroom for 2 years, but have also taught at a learning center for a total of 5 years. While in college, I participated in the AmeriCorps tutoring program, in which I privately tutored a few students, along with students in a school setting during the day. Recently, I have been privately tutoring a high school student and a kindergartener mainly for math, reading, English, and writing. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a voracious love of learning. Every subject in the Humanities held a fascination for me, and to this day, I read two books a week, write, draw, and study educational Psychology. years after my graduation, i earned my Secondary Teacher of English License at Edgewood College. My finance and I moved to Saint Louis, where I was recruited to teach "at risk" Secondary English, ESL, and Reading for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I also worked with them as a Drug IMPACT II Counselor, and gained real insight into Alternative Education. During this time, I tutored several students with Reading Comprehension difficulties. Currently, I am Certified Substitute Teacher and Para Professional (Regular and Students with Disabilities) with the Middleton Cross- Plains School District.

I have always been good in math and sciences. I enjoyed teaching my friends and classmates. For this reason I started by tutering math courses at the University of Tenessee Knoxville. I have earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, which combined with my Bachelors of Science Degree in Communications gives me, a strong combination to understand and relate to the needs of students. Since receiving my teaching license that has me certified to teach grades 1-8, I have worked as a tutor for middle school students and been a certified classroom substitute in the Madison and Verona school districts.
