I achieved my BS in 3.5 years with certifications in Kindergarten and English for secondary education. I have employed multiple skills to teach many disciplines to students. My interest in Science and Technology encouraged not only students to learn, but other teachers to request my expertise. I subsequently accepted a position with the Allen County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. In this position, I routinely inspect restaurants and markets in the Allen County Area. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my current position is the opportunity to utilize my science background and to educate the community on food-safety issues.
