I have helped tutor many young students through the Pirate 21 program at my school (Berea Community) and can help with a wide range of academic and extra curricular needs, such as vocal training or a drama couch, as well as a core content tutor. I love to see children florish academically and have the little A-HA moments that makes all their hard work worth while. I adore working with children and hopefully with the help of you, can make your little boy or girl fall back in love with learning.

I really like the Sanskrit word, “Namaste,” which I consciously use as a point of guidance in encountering people. One interpretation or meaning of this word is: The Light in me sees the Light in you. I want to honor others so that I can be of better service to them. I enjoy helping others understand statistical concepts as well as how they can be applied. I think it is important to have a great deal of patience when teaching and to always make it fun when possible. Also, I find it useful to remember that I was once learning statistics and remember the great skill of my professors and how integrative and exciting they made the process. I have taken on part of their approaches and try to use interesting examples in order to make learning statistics something to be excited for.
As a graduate of Berea College, I was given an opportunity to utilize the skills I learned at that institution.
