Enthusiastic teacher seeks to work with a young mind

I've worked in the ESL (or related) field for a total of 8 years. I was a Foreign Language Expert in China for 3 years and am finishing my 4th year as a rater for the TOEFL exam. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that for languages, immersion is the best, if most impractical, way of teaching. Therefore, it is my goal to speak as much in the target language as possible in order to increase exposure to the language. I also believe that repetition is key, but through interactive games and everyday tasks, the rote memorization disappears within the layers of common use. Whether through writing it out, singing a song, or playing a game, each child's individual learning style affects how we can learn together.
I spent a year in Spain teaching English to elementary school students through games and interactive methods.
