My comments on tutoring Entrance Exams : Passed writing entrance exam, WSU.

My method of tutoring is to work with students where they are and add to their skills, to accomplish the final outcome, preferably an "A" or "B." Some students are visual learners and some are informational learners, or some students combine the two. The potential I see in students is what I try to bring out and have them realize they are capable of going a step further, to reach their goal. The importance of education and the students' continuance of same cannot be stressed enough.
I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. Whatever their particular style is, students learn best in a positive learning environment which ideally will include the following elements: positive reinforcement, a regular study plan, parental support, and a quiet environment.
