My comments on tutoring Praxis Exam : I did tutor at least 10 students this subject

15 Years as High School Math teacher and 15 years as College Instructor. ! Math is one of my top subjects! Teaching is an Art, not any person can be a good teacher. I love teaching and I consider myself as a gifted Math teacher. Because I love teaching, I was a high school AP/BC Math teacher when I was 19 years old. I succeed through many years of teaching experience to create a nice and helpful short cut which really assists students not just understanding, but to help solving the problem in a short period of time. I usually do 2 hours/session (one hour is free if HS student), this allow students/parents to see my teaching style and decide

Praxis Exam is one of my top subjects! For over eight years I have extensively tutored all of the topics covered by the math section of the Praxis exam, including Praxis Core Math (5732) and Praxis Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects, Mathematics Subtest (5001/5003). Over the past two years, I took the Praxis Core Math test four times and the Multiple Subjects Test: Mathematics Subtest two times and achieved a perfect score each time. I am very familiar with the exam content, have excellent practice resources, and offer effective testing strategies. I have helped many struggling students pass their exams. Below are the score changes of my ten most recent students. The student's previous high score is shown on the left: Student 1 (Praxis Multiple Subjects. Math Subtest - 5003): Not taken previously to 172. Student 2 (Praxis Core Math - 5732): From 148 to 168. Student 3 (Praxis Core Math - 5732): From 137 to 152. My comments on tutoring Praxis Exam : Well-versed in test prep, had nearly perfect scores on mine, and have had a few successful clients with the PRAXIS. A few more clients and I'll feel I've got the hours in to have accomplished "expert" level.

Let's start out by saying I am definitely not your average tutor! Fun is vital to motivation, and I live on the stuff! I have been teaching for over fifteen years in a variety of environments, working in inclusive environments with children aged birth to twelve. I am now in my second year as a Special Education Teacher at a private school in DC that specializes in working with children who have Learning and Emotional Disabilities. I hold my M.Ed.HD in Special Education from GWU and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. During the summer, I serve as the Behavior Intervention Specialist for Fairfax County Park Authority in Inclusion camps. Even in high school and college, I tutored peers and proofread papers. Currently, I tutor clients in Clinton, MD twice a week, and in Alexandria twice a week, so I m able to take on clients in/near those locations. In addition to tutoring, I am ... read more

A Little Bit About Me...

love teaching irrespective of the monetary benefit.I strongly believe this is one of the profession you can achieve some mental satisfaction.Teaching never ends as the nature is globally developing and expanding in multiple direction .The most siginificant field is science and mathematics. So as a teacher too,you have to adapt the changes in your teaching style quite often, which suites to the best. However I do believe the teaching should be performed in a healthy and appropriate environment in which the teacher's contribution is very much involved.Teaching is a passion for me as most of my immediate relatives (18) are either professor or Teacher in this profession

More About This Tutor...

All of my work experience and higher education has been based around my passion for education. My educational successes showcase an MS in Adult and Technical Education: Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a BA in Elementary Education:K-6. My early work in day cares led me to pursue my BA and has allowed me the opportunity to work with students with every learning level and style. My time as a student-athlete tutor at the college level gave me extensive experience in private, one on one, and small group tutoring. During that time, I worked predominantly in English, including Speech/Communications, Composition, essay writing, grammar, essay, paragraph, and sentence structure, research, study skills, and organization.
I truly enjoy working with all ages of students. I feel that one of the best ways to learn is to teach. Most of my lessons are built around the central idea of ... read more
