Every child can learn! I believe that all children learn in different ways and it is a teacher or tutors obligation to find the way each child learns best. My goal with every student I work with is to get them excited about learning and exciting about wanting to know more. I am a patient, energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children. If a child is given the appropriate help then they will succeed. I had wonderful teachers growing up that helped me learn and I want to be that person for the next generation.
I have worked almost continuously at Wichita Collegiate School over the last 8-9 years. During high school I worked in the Early Childhood after-school program and summer programs. I am going to school right now for a Associate Degree in Applied Science getting my General Studies completed. I will be transferring to WSU next year for a bachelor degree. Throughout my general studies I have focused on Sociology, Psychology, Business English. During the past 2 years I have had the opportunity to study with younger family members needing a tutor in the areas of Art, reading, math.
