I love when I can help others!

My teaching style is more hands on because that's how I learned fastest when I was in school.
I am going to school to become a teacher in the grades of kindergarten through 5th, I have been a nanny for several people and have enjoyed it completely! During my nanny duties, I would of course have a home-schooling section and would also help around the house when needed, so I think that I am a very good candidate for teaching basics and other subjects to help kids better themselves and their studies!

A Little Bit About Me...

My experience comes from being brought up by, a Spanish mother who spoke perfect Castillian Spanish. My education has only enhanced my love of teaching.I have experience in many fields from being a trained Make-up artist to running nightclubs,but teaching another person to speak proper Spanish is a skill that I truly value.
Teaching others should be fun and effortless. The style of the teacher is what can make or break a great lesson and I feel that my students would enjoy our lessons together. Students should feel comfortable enough to ask questions and never feel overwhelmed by the lessons, that is what I strive for!

A Little Bit About Me...

I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

Many teachers will say the same thing, that they love teaching and it is only outside factors that will disrupt a class and make it difficult for some students to learn. I delight in helping students to acquire new knowledge and there is satisfaction in having students thank the teacher after a class. I like to work with small groups and encourage these groups to explore and teach each other from my leading. I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I then started my own company as a Spanish instructor. I taught Spanish to medical professionals and at the local preschools in the Boone, NC area. Last school year I taught high school Spanish. I currently work as a Spanish/ESL instructor at a college in the evenings. In addition, I have tutored high school and college students in Spanish.
