From elementary school to college I have loved education and learning which has been exemplified by my gifted and honors status. I have earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Science, which has strengthened me in the areas of math and science. I also have a balanced knowledge of writing skills from writing countless research papers, laboratory reports, and essays. During the last four years I have worked as an Environmental Scientist. I love teaching and working with all children. I believe each child has a different learning style and the tutor must identify it and use it to help the child better absorb and retain the information for complete comprehension and not just test regurgitation. I am very patient and understanding that a lesson might have to be taught many different ways for the student to learn. My aim is to help the student to understand the underline concepts
