When a student is challenged with a physics problem, they feel overwhelmed because they do not understand how to approach the problem. For example, making a sandwich you first use the bread to contain the other ingredients such as the meat, vegetables and condiments. This basic understanding of ingredients on how to make a sandwich is applicable to the atom. An atom is made of protons, electrons and neutrons.
