My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have experience tutoring children with behavioral issues, learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, ADD), as well as students on the Autism Spectrum. I'm willing to assist in almost any subject, including elementary school Spanish, up to French 2, and ACT/SAT prep (my scores are available upon request). My love for teaching goes as far back as my high school years. Specifically, in 2004, when I graduated from high school, I decided to take a gap year before enrolling in college. During that time, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in a first grade class. That experience was both enjoyable and humbling for me because aside from performing my assigned duties to enhance teaching and learning, I served as a mentor to the young children. The realization that they looked up to me gave me a renewed sense of work ethic, challenging me to work hard and give off my very best.
