When working on Reading skills I often use high interest topics such as the arts, sports, computers and science to encourage students to excel. I am a professional singer, actress and dancer who has taught throughout my 15 year career. I truly love teaching, especially in a one-on-one or very small group setting. Currently I teach private lessons in: piano, voice and acting. I also teach small-group: Piano, Acting, Choir, Learn to Read Music, Creative Movement, Pilates, Boot Camp, Kick Boxing. I graduated high school in 2000 with a local diploma and then went on to college at Utica School of Commerce. I graduated in 2002 with an Associated Degree as an Administrative Specialist. I have worked at a few different jobs and just went back to college again at Utica School of Commerce and got my certificate degree as a Medical Office Assistant. As a central New York native I decided to stay in the area and go to college at Syracuse University. While at Syracuse I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as an Art Education Initial certification degree. I enjoyed Syracuse so much that I stayed for my graduate work and earned my MS in Art Education. During my 5 years at Syracuse University I particiapated in various roles working with children.
