Expertise with Struggling Students

I am a credentialed teacher currently working with at-risk students. I teach ALL levels of math through Algebra II, as well as computer ed. I managed our school's independent study program for 3 years, and currently help students with on-line classes (in addition to teaching in a traditional classroom.) I have also worked as a language arts enrichment instructor with K-8 students. I have tutored students in Math and Language Arts.
I love to work with individual students to find out where their confusion lies. From there, we rebuild understanding to enable them to move forward. My comments on tutoring Study Skills : There are a lot of ways to study, but the way that works is different for everyone. I hope to find a way for each student to study.

Every child is different in getting the concept, so it will be different in understanding concepts.
I have taught or tutored since March 2014, and have tutored from Kindergarten through 6th or 7th grade. I have taught in the areas of language arts and math. I have found that children have different ways to get a point. Therefore, there are different ways that they can study and get the concepts.
