While I have been working on my Elementary Education degree I have had the opportunity to teach young children. I have also spent the last two semesters taking methods classes, learning to teach different subjects. I have spent many years babysitting, 2 years teaching an 18 month old basics (counting, abc's, colors, phrases) and eventually complete sentences. For a year I worked with a 4th grader helping with homework and tutoring her in reading and spelling.
