My teaching experience is based on teaching parts of a graduate-level course on Pest Management as a guest lecturer, the Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) position at Virginia Tech, on participating in conducting insect tours for local school groups, and on training temporary summer employees. I have a Master’s degree in Biology with concentration in Zoology and a PhD in Entomology. My 8 years of experience working as a research scientist allowed me to develop skills in writing proposals, lab reports and scientific papers.
