I have a background in Psychology, so I am extremely intuitive with what a person needs regarding their learning style. I am able to adapt my teaching style to their needs. Patience is something that I have learned over the years, so I am able to work well with those who just need a little extra attention. In having a science background, I have not only learned laboratory skills and reasoning skills, but I have learned how to increase efficiency, communicate in a clear manner, and write in a way that is direct and clear. I enjoy learning, and I instill that passion into my students as best I can. I grew up with a mom who is an English teacher, so I have developed good communication skills and writing skills from her. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate from the University of North Texas with a BFA in drawing and Painting. I have used the art experince to teach preschoolers self expression through creating. I took 4 years of ASl in college and found the experinces exciting, inspiring me to want to teach ASL on the HS level.For the past 5 years I have been teaching ASL at a KatyISD.
