Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor. I have tutored for 3 years while I worked for Tryon Elementary school. I had great success with the students I worked with, in particular concerning math. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught Remedial Language Arts for one semester to students who needed to graduate and were on the verge of failing in a HS,Pre-Algebra as a pre-requisite for Algebra 9-12th students for 4 years and Algebra 1 Honors for 4 years. My advancement in these two areas prompted me to teach Pre-calcus to 9th graders which was quite a challenge.
