Learning Math can be FUN!

With over 35 years experience teaching math, I have successfully taught students from third grade through college calculus. I enjoy math, and my students are able to understand it in a one-to-one teaching environment. During this time of closed schools, it is difficult for students to understand and adapt to this new way of learning. Many teachers are overwhelmed as they had to change their teaching methods with just a couple of months remaining in the school year. As a graduate with an engineering related BS degree from North Carolina State University, my background intense in the maths and sciences. After entering the workforce for a few years, I took a few classes in education to acquire my teaching license in comprehensive science at the secondary level. I have taught primarily chemistry and physical science for 3.5 years, but have also taught biology and earth science.
