I am a third year student studying for an Elementary Education degree through DmACC and Iowa State. I have just completed a year of Elementary Educator math courses. I have also have a degree in Practical Nursing and Limited Radiology Technology. I decided to go back to school to become an Elementary Teacher after being a nurse for several years and also ran a daycare out of my home when my kids were small. I currently work part-time as a Teacher's Associate at Ankeny Community Schools. I am looking to tutor during the summer months and possibly throughout the school year.

Children all learn different, which is why I believe in using direct instruction in guiding their learning. Some children are more visual learns, while others may be more auditory. I recently obtained my BS in Marketing along with a minor in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
