I Have been a teacher since 2002. I have had various experience in teaching students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, OCD, PDD, ODD, as well as other learning, social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I have also had experience tutoring students from grades one to ten. I have had to plan and implement individual education plans as well as independent lessons for various students. I have worked with children from all types of schools including inner city and charter schools.

My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I have worked with many students who have ADD/ADHD and developed strategies to help them become successful and confident in school.

When I first meet my students, I want them to feel comfortable with me and what we will be doing. I try to get to know them as we work together and find out what their interests, hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, and other important factors in their lives.
