My comments on tutoring GED : I have taught students in alternative schools basic educational skills needed to either graduate from high school or earn a GED.

I have taught for many years in all levels of secondary school, alternative schools, and tutoring centers.I eat, sleep, and drink tutoring as I tutor every day during the school year and do lots of research to help my kids in whatever academic subject is causing them difficulty. I began my teaching career for the first five years as a high school English teacher and taught regular college prep English courses.The next five years I taught English at the middle school level.Next, I got married and resigned from teaching when our first child was born. I enjoy meeting new students who have trouble learning math and seeing themselves light up after a session or two of tutoring. I believe in the discovery method of learning and questioning to have the student aware of where he/she is having difficulty with math.
