Experienced math tutor

I believe that all students can learn with a patient tutor. Many of my students find math frustrating but I have the ability to break all concepts down to the most basic elements and build from there. It is NEVER too late to learn, nor right to learn only 1 way

I utilize kinesthetic learning and encourage parental involvement within the tutoring sessions.
I summarized my basic experience in the Policy Statement. To expand on that, I have over 20 apps on an android tablet that are for clients who need early intervention in the areas of educational subjects, speech/breathing techniques, social and emotional recognition and assistive communication. I have a child safety filter infiltrated into the device so that the clients receive only what is appropriate to their learning. They cannot access the settings on the device, nor the regular web. I honor parents' input on what they think is appropriate for their child.

My comments on tutoring Elementary : I have taught in the elementary setting 10 years. My total teaching experience is 23 years at the elementary and middle school level. I am able to teach all subjects up to 8th grade. I hold an Arizona certification for these levels.

I am a leader in positive behavior plans, teaching students with emotional/behavioral/attention issues. I am well received by students and build rapport quickly. Math is my passion, although, it was not always so. I did not become excited about math until I started teaching it.
