Learning is an awesome tool when you have the ability to understand and use it in your surroundings. This is my goal for every student. I Generally like to propose problems and or questions to students and have a general discussion about the math. If at all possible, I want them to be able to understand and explain how math works in their world. I also try to help them understand that math is a series of patterns and if they can understand and follow the patterns, this will be in their best interest.
