I have been tutoring mathematics in the Cincinnati area since 1997. I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through college level. From 2010-2014, I taught math and science full time at a local Catholic school. In Fall of 2014, I completed my student teaching at a local high school. In January 2015,I received my MA in Math Education along with my state teaching certification. The subjects that I have taught include: elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, statistics, general chemistry, and physics.
I typically will meet with students in their home or at a local library. I prefer that the student bring their books and notes from class so that I may see what the student needs to work on.

Math is FUN and EASY!!!

Make sure the student understands every step along the way by asking leading questions and having the student show his/her understanding. 4. Science is similar to math where it is important to practice problems. At University of Cincinnati, despite being a full-time graduate student, I was serving at the Math Learning Center for nine hours as a tutor and a grader for three classes. I tutored Calculus, Method Matrixes, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. Undergraduate students always showed up to get a solution for their homework. I was always telling them I am not going to give you just a correct final answer but I’ll teach you a way to solve problems. I insisted on the scientific reasoning and mathematical rigor for example I didn’t allow them to work on particular cases without knowing the general definition.
