As a child I loved to read and write. In High School I took the AP exams for both English Language and English Composition, scoring a 4 and a 5. It was a natural choice for me to major in English when I started my college career. While working on my degree I already knew I wanted to teach, so I began tutoring. I tutored two Korean families over two years, helping the children (ages 9, 12, 14, & 15), with their school subjects, and with their English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills. I am a very laid-back, out going person but I never stray from the main goal at hand. I strive to help educate children the best way possible, and would like to make a difference in their life. My education growing up was very positive, and going to a smaller school enabled me to have one on one contact with my educators.
