I am a mother of three awesome kids, one of which has an ADHD and BiPolar condition. I have experience homeschooling my children. I worked in the dental field for ten years as a dental assistant as well as a manager. I have extensive business management experience. I teach youth church and lead a tween girls bible study at my church. I am now a full-time, stay-at-home mom managing my own sewing business. I'm certified in Grades 6-12 to teach all English and language arts subjects in Oklahoma. I'm also certified to teach speech/drama/debate in Grades 6-12. I believe all children can learn. What I have learned is that tapping into an aspect of the child's interest and using that to build the foundation for their learning is the best way to teach. Piaget called the idea that kids learn by building upon what they already know "constructivism," and I consider myself a constructivist.
