A Little Bit About Me...

Ever since I was in high school, I have always enjoyed working with children in a variety of situations. I helped out in a second grade classroom and enjoyed helping students understand their classwork. Even in college, I enjoyed helping my friends with math and writing. Last year, I taught a self-contained sixth grade classroom and this year, I taught a multi-age first and second grade classroom in the same school.
My creativity allows me to come up with different teaching ideas depending on the child's needs. Differentiated instruction has helped me to reach the needs of all learners and positive reinforcement has helped to motivate students to want to do well.
