I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. I have also received a Masters of Public Health Degree in Epidemiology, and have since completed my 2nd year of medical school. I have always had a strong affinity for math and english as well. I have a published thesis paper that was constructed and presented as required for my masters curriculum. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, and have tutored elementary to college level courses.
I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. As a gradute of the College of Creative Arts at West Virginia University, I was given the opportunity to learn and experience all aspects of the music education program. I earned my bachelor degree in Music Education and taught private lessons for a part time job to help put myself through school. I believe that it is important to determine how exactly a person learns. Some people are audio learners and need to talk it out. Others learn better by repetition and doing different examples.
