A Little Bit About Me...

Having been the top student in my senior class at Norfolk State University, I often assisted my classmates who had difficulties in writing papers. During my time as an undergraduate, I served as a long-term substitute teacher in the Portsmouth Public School system. I recieved my BA in English and graduated with a 3.97 grade point average. This fall, I will begin the Master's of Teaching program at Empire State College in New York.
Whether teaching my son to read, guiding elementary school students through a discussion of the water cycle, or assisting a classmate with a term paper, I always try to employ the Socratic method.
